IRIX: system: IRIX: Customizing login window

(last edit: 2003-01-05)

Customizing login window

You can customize the xdm login window (actually the clogin login window) by altering the file /var/sysadm/config/clogin.conf At the bottom of this file you see these two lines: lp:noshow nuucsp:noshow add the following users (in my opinion though) diag daemon bin uucp sys adm sgiweb rfindd EZsetup demos guest and these will not be shown in your login window. Although you might want to consider to remove the EZsetup, demos, guest and some other users entirely from your system. Changing user icon Create a file named $HOME/.icons/login.icon This must be a SGI image libary format and should be 100 by 100 pixels.
